“Womenswear designers and manufacturers are clamoring for sustainable fabrics to meet the demand of discerning customers who care about the materials in their clothes,” said Ruth Farrell, global marketing director of textiles. “Naia™ cellulosic fiber is at the nexus of comfort and luxury because it renders soft, skin-friendly fabrics in rich, vibrant colors with a sumptuous drape.”

Garments made with Naia™ deliver on both style and sustainability. Naia™ transforms into luxurious, comfortable, and easy-to-care-for fabrics with supreme softness, improved dry rates, and reduced pilling. In combination with other fibers, Naia™ affords almost unlimited possibilities for textural variety. It mixes well with cotton, silk, wool, linen, nylon, recycled polyester, elastane, and other man-made cellulosics—adding fine luxury when woven into a silky satin fabric and comfort when knitted with spandex into a jersey or interlock fabric.

Naia the perfect choice for womenswear

Naia™ brings nature to fashion. It is a fully traceable, biobased fiber responsibly sourced from sustainably managed pine and eucalyptus forests and plantations. Naia™ is made by Eastman in the U.S.A. with the highest safety, social, and environmental standards. Eastman’s closed-loop production process for Naia™ allows recycling and reuse of safe solvents and water, resulting in a fiber with a low environmental impact.
