A sustainable choice for fashion
As the demand for sustainable materials continues to rise in the textiles industry, Eastman Naia™ cellulosic fiber offers a sustainable portfolio of eco-conscious material, presenting more versatile fiber options for brands and designers.
Naia™ is a sustainable fiber made from wood pulp harvested from responsibly managed forests and plantations. This biobased fiber is sustainable from its origin to end of life.
Eastman Naia™ cellulosic yarn was introduced into the women’s wear market in 2018 in alignment with the fashion industry’s shift toward the circular economy. This filament yarn transforms fabrics into luxurious, comfortable, and easy-to-care-for fabrics with beautiful drape and a silky-soft hand.
Recently, Naia™ launched its newest sustainable product offering—Naia™ cellulosic staple fiber. With the introduction of staple fiber, the portfolio now includes a fiber that has inherent softness, dries quickly, and reduces pilling when blended with other sustainable fibers; perfect for creating fabrics for everyday casual wear.
At Eastman, we take our commitment to sustainable forestry management seriously. As producers of biobased products, we are integrating sustainability across the entire supply chain, meeting customer and consumer demand while ensuring sustainable sourcing and production.
